 Thumb release broke after less than a year's useOct 04, 2010

I was really excited to have this umbrella. It stands up well in the rain and rain, and looks stylish. However, the thumb release broke after less than a year's use. It still opens with the release, but has to be manually closed, and that requires quite a bit of labor, as it's not meant to be closed that way. Not sure if I'll purchase another.

This umbrella has worked very well for me. It is sturdy and i love the handle that I can hook over my arm when walking. I think that this one of the best brands out there.

I absolutely love this umbrella. It is a stick umbrella - which is what I was looking for. And it had to be pink. That's a plus. This umbrella is HUGE! I would recommend it to anyone! It is built very well and hopefully works great in the rain. I'm sure it will. It's also an automatic umbrella. All you do is push a button and the umbrella opens. It's very easy to close, too. It has a second layer of material on top to vent air so that it won't turn inside out. I love that. Go out and get a GustBuster for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Great at fighting the serious new england wind! It's a little annoying that it has special drying instructions (a tad inconvenient) but it works beautifully so I don't mind too much. Definitely worth the money!
