Great umbrella (for one average size man)Nov 18, 2009
By Mark Concha I'll keep this short and sweet, You can't go wrong with ShedRain, great customer service, lifetime warranty (which I have used on another umbrella, that I still have). The design is very classy and the mechanical components work very smoothly, I haven't had a chance to try it out in gusty wind conditions ( I will update when I do). I'm not sure what kind of creative math gave them the 48" arch that is listed in the description (the best I could get was 46.5" over 3%, hey it makes a difference). I would take another inch and a half in the overall folded length if it added six or more inches to the arch measurement. That's all for now, Folks!

AwesomeAug 14, 2010
By Rishilan Chandran Got exactly what i wanted. It was built with quality in mind. It weighs as solid as it is. Although i should mention that the wooden handle differed from what you see in the picture found here. It had a rounded edge on the curve opposing to what you see here which is flat. It was light wooden color and not coated with varnish which gave a natural feel & look to it, nevertheless i still liked it.

Dont waste your $$$Feb 28, 2012
By soakingwetinsouthamerica I purchased this umbrella for a 3 month trip to Ecuador during the rainy season. The umbrella worked great for about 30 days. Then one day an arm bent while opening, and the next day the arm snapped in two. Dont waste your $$$ on this. My wife bought a $6 Totes compact umbrella for the same trip and that one is still working.

Great!Nov 03, 2011
By B. Hall This is a great umbrella for work. It's really well made, looks great and can fit in my work bag. The only feedback i have is that although the wood handle is beautiful, it is a little on the large side. Other then that it's a 5 out of 5.

Works well, but the wooden handle will look poorly after light useMay 07, 2011
By online shopper Very good-looking and well-made umbrella. As for rain and wind performance it was very good as expected.
Clear coat on the wooden handle falls of very quickly (leaving white marks) which won't let you use this as an impressive item, although fabric and the overall look is extremely good. So I think of it as of "just an umbrella" because of the handle issue, then why didn't they just make it regular rubber handle; would be looking much better then my umbrella looks at the moment. Thus 4 stars.
